Thanks to an appealing loyalty campaign, Alvo sought to reward their loyal customers and to gain new customers (targeted at families with young children). During springtime, Alvo wanted to create an attractive offer based on a powerful license that would draw the attention of families who love to travel.
During a period of 12 weeks, the Alvo customers could collect a full Hampton Bays saver card which could be redeemed into an exclusive Hampton Bays luggage article at a discount of 60%. We put an attractive display into each store next to the cash desk so the customers could clearly evaluate the quality and features of each item.
The Alvo customers showed a great interest, which resulted in a high participation among all stores. The program was not only a success in terms of sales, also the shopping behavior has been remarkable. The comments of customers in the stores as well as through social media made clear that the range was highly appreciated by both new and existing clients. We are proud to say that the ROI was well over 100% and the campaign had a sustainable impact on sales growth not only during the campaign but also after thanks the gaining of new customers.
